The SLC offers both in-person and virtual consultations. Masks are encouraged for all in-person consultations.
Getting started:
- Before you can make an appointment you need to:
- log in to your account (or register for an account if you don't already have one).
- read and agree with the SLC's consultation policies as described in our Student Consultation Agreement
- For writing consultations, you will need to upload your assignment guidelines and any written drafts you plan to show during the consultation to your WCO booking.

Confidentiality policy: Consultations are confidential and will be managed in accordance with BC's Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act. The information on this website is collected under the authority of the University Act (R.S.B.C. 1996, c.468) and the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (RSBC 1996, c. 165). It is related directly to and needed by the University for services provided by the Student Learning Commons. The information will be used to maintain a record of consultation with Student Learning Commons staff.
